Collaborative Research Network for Human Health, Well-being and Development

This Collaborative Research Network (CRN) will trade on and develop further nascent collaborations within the University and beyond and, bring together medical, biological, behavioural, and social scientists to study the major determinants of health and well-being at various levels of expression and influence and at various stages of the human lifespan.

The focus of this CRN is health and well-being as it relates to lifestyle and, in particular, understanding the social and behavioural processes through which major population changes in life style occurs, their impact on health, and the biological mechanisms underlying such health effects.  Such understanding is required to inform strategies for disease prevention and rehabilitation.
